Personal Details
- Currently attending Rutgers University as a junior pursuing a degree in both Political Science and Computer Science.
- Was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia in January of 2009 and is still undergoing chemotherapy.
- Continued to work as well as go to school while dealing with the chemotherapy.
Professional Details
- Was able to create fully functional message board using PHP and MySQL at the age of 13.
- Worked as a web development intern for Blue Iceberg, an interactive agency, at the age of 16 in the summer of 2007.
- Continued to work as a freelance programmer on various projects that were given to me by Blue Iceberg after the internship concluded. This work consisted of working with legacy php code and also included working with Ruby and the Rails framework to create a content management system for a very large diocese.
- Created many dynamic websites with Ruby on Rails as a programmer, including but not limited to Shahnawaz Palace and Shahnawaz Frozen Foods.
- Currently working for the Rutgers University Edward J. Bloustein School of Public Policy, as a web developer. Duties include working with legacy php code as well as using Ruby to create a program for the New Jersey Energy Data Center.
- Able to work with Ruby on Rails, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, MySQL, and any content management system that you would like modified for you or even created.
